hello all first post in awhile maybe ever i had to reset my password. Well I have a question regarding a boat that i am getting for very cheap because the motor is most likely toast. my question is the boat im contemplating on buying has a evinrude 110 hp circa 1986 can i swap this out with any motor around that time period without having to drill additional holes in the transom ? are those transom plate thingies the same for all different evinrude johnsons and different horsepowers also ???
