fundamentally what we have here looks like fuel starvation from poor pumping which you can accomplish manually .

back to options..

pump pressure pulses from the crankcase poor or missing for some reason
check rear gasket alignment

fuel restriction which the pump can't handle ..change fuel source& filtering if any

perform blow test on the pump to confirm directional flow... IN to OUT nothing OUT to IN

air leak on the suction side of the fuel supply which hand pumping alleviates.

fuel distribution restriction from pump output to distribution which hand pumping overcomes ..check fuel distribution ..65 micron filter etc...

I hooked the fuel supply to a standalone tank and still the same issue but I think I may have found the problem, I took the intake cover off and was pumping the fuel and noticed fuel seeping out of the black box circled, I'll be taking it apart today and ill let you know what I find, hopefully just a bad gasket...

Also engine model # is E115ELEUA

Black box ???-----Vapor separation tank. is the item and it has a float valve in it.

I replaced the gasket on the vapor separation tank and it stopped leaking but i'm still getting the same problem or rather the problem seems to have gotten worse, now it won't stay running even with the red primer switch on. I pulled the plugs right after it died and they are all wet, but why would they be wet if it's starving for fuel? Also, when it dies I manually pump the primer bulb and can hear the bowls filling with fuel, so it still seems to be a fuel starvation issue, I don't see any fuel leaks now though. And with the red primer switch manually turned on and pumping fuel manually, should fuel be coming out of the carbs?

The primer valve puts fuel directly into the engine.----That fuel does not go into the carburetor bowls or through the metering circuits.---With the red lever in the wrong position motor will flood with fuel when running.

Any idea why fuel would be coming out all 4 carbs with the switch open? With the switch closed it pressurizes fine but with it open fuel will start coming out of all 4 carbs and it will never pressurize.

With the primer valve open the bulb on the hose will not go hard.----It is working as intended !!----And the bulb on the hose does not stay hard once motor is running either !

This is probably a stupid question...but is there supposed to be any air bubbles in the fuel line when manually pumping? I was looking at the fuel input and saw a few air bubbles when pumping, no air bubbles when running though. I had connected the the fuel line to a separate tank so ruled out the gas tank as a potential leak but now I'm thinking there may be a leak somewhere in the fuel line itself from the primer bulb to the engine, the primer bulb itself is new so I wouldn't think it's that unless I got a bad primer bulb.

Just an update, finally solved the problem, I ripped my fuel system apart from engine to the fuel tank, pickup tube was good, anti siphon barb was good, finally figured out the problem was a crappy aftermarket fuel filter not allowing fuel to flow properly. Switched to a sierra fuel filter and she runs great now. Lesson learned, don't buy cheap aftermarket fuel filters.
