Evinrude 150 carb leaking at float bowl

Evinrude 150 leaking at what looks like the float bowl gasket. Is this a sign that the float could be stuck and overflowing the bowl? Are these floats solid "foam type" or hollow "copper"? And can the float itself fill with gas? Thanks in advance!!<br /><br />Andy

Some of the floats are copper some are plastic. If you buy the rebuild kit for the carb it comes with new floats along with all gaskets and new seats. Rebuild the carbs (I would do the entire set) not just the leaker.<br /><br />Bob
