i have a 95 Evinrude 150 and all 6 carbs are leaking. They are leaking from the little plug or ball on the bottom of the fuel bowl. When I pump up the primer they just ooze gas out of them. I wipe them dry and in a minute or two you can see them oozing. The ywill drain the fuel bowls in a few hours. I have the boat out of the water now and it is dripping out of the cowl onto the lower unit. I did notice this some last year and did not think much about it. I now have all 6 carbs on the bench and they all leak. Can I just reseat the ball and reseal the hole. There is some type of sealer that came out pretty easy. Here are 2 pictures of the one carb.

That's very common. As a standard part of a carb job on those carbs we always put a dab of epoxy over the BB. The trick is that it has to be clean & dry.

You know how the pan on yours is always wet on the inside? The pan on my son's 60* is completely dry. All the time.

That is exactly what is happening on mine. It is always wet. I'm cleaning them up right now. Some carb clean and brake clean will clean it and make sure it is dry. Off to the store for some new epoxy.
