Evinrude 150 Intruder

I have a 1994 150 that caught on fire and melted all the plastic, fuel manifolds, and wiring. I am having problems locating parts and was wondering what year engines would be compatible to the 1994 Intruder so that I could broaden my search so I can find a parts engine that would work.
is there anything special about the fuel manifolds could I use barbed fittings and build fuel manifolds with fuel hose
