evinrude 150 or yamaha 130

I have two engines. The evinrude is a 95 60 degree and the yamaha is a 92. If you fish salt every week and both engines run great which one would you keep for the longhaul? Thanks I know this is the evinrude board but it has always been my favorite. Honest opinions apprecited. I know with myself mercury is not a word in my vocabulary

I agree with you about the Merc's but, on this forum your only gonna get one opinion. Yami's are great motors but I'll go with the Johnrude anyday. Good Luck.

If you take manufactures out of this equation, are you comparing a de-tuned V6 against a hopped-up V4? Isn’t there a big weight difference too? <br /><br />One other item, Why do you have extra engines sitting around? <br />Mac
