Evinrude 150 Spitfire V6 What is this?

When I bought this boat, the motor ran pretty well. I replaced the impeller (it was installed upside down). Now I have found an electronic block, about 2" x 3" on the front between the carbs. It has a 4 prong wire harness that was not hooked up to the receiving corresponding wire harness. The motor runs fine, do I need to plug this in? What is it?

Well-----That is the warning module for a ----" no oil condition "------If it was disconnected maybe the oil injection was bypassed.------Did you mix gas and oil at 50:1 in your fuel tank , yes , no or not sure what is going on ?

Yes, I mixed 50:1 in the tank. So, that's the alarm for the oil injector system? I guess it was all bypassed before I bought it.

I believe post #2 is very clear in saying that is the " no oil alarm " for your motor.
