Go to Salvage Yards at the top of this forum and check with some of them for the parts you need.

You need a bracket off a 22 cubic inch block.-----Marketed from about 1957 to 1976.------Marketed as an 18 / 20 / 25 HP.------I do not believe a starter off a 35 HP will fit.

Racerone judging from the pictures I have found online it looks like the starter mounts on the opposite side on the smaller engines

sure would help to know the yr/model. Look on the top or side of the mounting bracket.

The basics will be a starter and bracket, and an outboard solenoid. From there, depends on what serves your purposes. I have a conversion with starter operation mounted at the transom.

i think the bracket may still available at 300 bucks, used run around half that. very popular mod on those 22 cubers so it's a supply and demand thing. a salvage yard knows what the bracket is worth. do yourself a favor and track down a non running 15, 18, 20, or 25 hp from the same era with the starter and bracket on the cheap and come away with a nice little parts haul too.
