Evinrude 1953 7.5hp part needed

Hello i am looking for anyone that can help me out with my 1953 evinrude 7.5hp neutral shift.I need a part off the engine. Its a little bracket that is used with the shifting. I went to a couple of local boat yards and they couldnt help. The bracket is about 2 1/2 inches in lenght and you push a pin out to remove the bracket from the powerhead. EDIT one picture is the actual part and the other picture is the location of the part.You can see the pin that i was able to push out...... thanks john

have you checked the salvage yards in the top secret file at the beginning of this forum?

I thought I could help thinking I had a '53 Fleetwin in the Parts Motor Room, but it was a '51 sorry.

Try a wanted ad in the webvertize of the aomci.org or the salvage yards as stated.

The evinrude 7.5hp from 1950-1953 are the same parts . That is the neutral shift engine with the internal gas tank....thanks john
