Evinrude 1960 10hp Sporttwin

I just pulled the lower unit and the driveshaft is stuck up in the crank. Model 10020.
Turned motor upside down and flooded shaft with Aero Kroil.Let it set all night.
Still stuck and I'm not looking forward to pulling the powerhead to get it out.
Any you guys have an idea how to proceed?

Just more patience. I'm betting the o-ring was left out of the top of the drive shaft and water got up in there. It's pretty common. I would soak it for a few more days and see if that doesn't help. If not, then you'll have to pull the powerhead.
