The motor starts and runs for a while. When I got it it had wrecked threads on the sparkplugs on one side.( I had an inserts put in.) After running there is water in the lower cylinder on one side and a gurgling sound from the air inlet when the motor stops. I have had the head gasket off and it is okay. Is there a break through area between the water jacket and the inlet manifold?

Sorry Gas Hog,

Notice the DATE on the original posting?

I think you will get better results starting a NEW thread, use a similar title with your motor.

While you wait for a response, remove the exhaust cover and inspect for a bad gasket or a hole corroded between the exhaust and water passages.

Maybe you can cut to the chase and check the hoses to the automatic choke. They don't like to have the water hose connected to the vacuum source nipple.
