Evinrude 1980 2 cylinders 60 Hp carburetors

Evinrude 1980 2 cylinders 60 Hp <br />Carburetor question I took apart the carburetors and forgot which way to put the float back in.<br />There is flat part on the float and on the other side there is a grove that start from the center<br />and to the end of the circular shape float. My question is? Which way should I put it back the grove to the bottom or the other way?

The float will only sit one way and be usable.<br /><br />Once you try it you will now whether it will work or not.<br /><br />TMD

I rather not go the way as taking a guess on which way to turn the floats by putting on and seeing if the engine will start. But I found the answer to the question. Plus the carburetor kit came with instructions and I found out that way also I guess that what your talking about try them and the way that the instructions say in the right measurments is the right way.
