I bought my evinrude about a year ago. Last week I ran it for the time. It ran great and throttled up fine with plenty of power. Second time I ran it, no problems. At the end of my second session I pulled the gas line and let the engine run out of gas completely. The third time out is when I had the problem. It will idle fine but when I give it throttle fast it bogs down and wants to die. If I give it throttle very slow it will come up to full rpms and have good power. What would cause it to hesitate and want to stall. Also, I put a new stator in because the old one melted. After the third session I noticed one new drop of plastic coming from the new stator. I checked the rectifer and it is bad. I am replacing both rectifier and stator. Any ideas on the throttle problem.<br /><br />Thanks
