Hello I got a quick question,

I was changing out my water pump a few weeks ago. Anyway, I sheared the bolt head offf the anode or the trim tab on the lower leg unit. I was wondering if it is alright to run the motor in the lake in Illinois without it. I am going to get my brother who is a machinest to remove the sheared bolt/screw extractor in South Carolina and put it back on then. I am going down there for vacation on memorial day weekend. thank you guys very much for responding.

Just hang on to the steering wheel at all times. You should be doing that anyhow. That's to help reduce steering torque caused by a sideways rotating propeller moving the boat in a forward direction.
