I have just finished rebuilding the FasTrak trim unit on my Evinrude 225. Put on a new pump motor and full seal kit. Everything went back together great...took a little while to bleed most of the air out so the motor would go up and down. All in all it is working great, however I have a loud low pitch squeak(sounds like dry or not well lubricated rubber against something) when the Tilt ram goes down. It sounds perfect going up, and the trim rams sound great both ways. There may be a small amount of fluid noise when the trim rams go up, but not much. When I take the cap off of the reservoir I notice a small amount of air and frothy fluid comes out. I have been replacing the fluid and maybe even slightly over filling the unit. I have no leaks just this rather obnoxious noise. Any ideas???
