Evinrude 25 hp lower unit front stud

1993 ev 25. Fought that god forsaken front stud but finally got the unit removed. I must have stripped the threads on the stud. The nut won't tighten. Anyone ever successfully removed that stud? Any other options for me here? Thanks

Shouldn't be to hard, your favorite penetrant and if it's a saltwater motor ...lots of heat.

Put a pipe wrench on it and turn it out.

In 2008 I removed a stud from my '73 Merc midsection, as I needed it on my '93 Merc midsection. I didn't even need any heat.
