evinrude 35 carb help needed please

tore down carb to do rebuild and it seems the small brass tube inside the larger brass tube inside the carb has broken off inside, trying to figure out how to remove the larger brass tube and i cant find either of them on any carb diagrams i look up, does anyone know what either of these tubes is called or a part # or how to get them out? im stumped here... motor is a 1976 model number 35603G

from what i am seeing digging around on the net these tubes are not removeable and looks like a may need to find a new carb, anyone know if this is true?

If the tube is broken off and has a jagged edge your carb is done. Those are part of the carb body. If and when you get it running again make sure you have a good prop on it.

thats what i figured....any idea what could have caused this? the prop on the motor is in good shape but ive never ran the motor before just picked it up off craigslist last week.....anyone have a carb lying around that would work they would like to sell?

A bad prop can set up a vibration in the mtr or else if it's over reving at wot could cause this.
