Evinrude 48 spl question

how often should I change the lower oil. I trailer the boat and take it out twice a week or so. The engine runs great and I want to keep it that way!

My owners manual says every 100 hours of operation or once each season, which ever occurs first

Ashtabula Ohio, as said, absolutely in the fall, before the first freeze, to make sure there is no water in it, to freeze and crack the unit. always replace the drain and vent gaskets, they are one use items.
