Evinrude 50573b trim tab

Need some basic information on the "starting" position for the trim tab. When I got the boat, the lower unit was partially removed, and as such, I dont have the basic setting for the trim tab. What do you guys normally set it at (i just need a basic starting point) Should I center it, and play with it from there, or should I give it a few degrees to one side or the other to start out??

when looking from the back the center the right side of the tab, then go from there.
