the problem is when it goes to the water it starts excellent but as i place it on forward it goes poorly and i noticed that no speed is been read on my speedometer and it just won't go fast it used to run 30knots but know it doesn't past15 or 20 and just to get there it's a problem it would go off,or for it not to go off i would have to pump the squeeze bulb,it used to run idle at 1700 and be great but know it idles at 1000,1100 and it just doesn't work,it starts perfect, carbs are clean, reeds are good, filter new, spark plugs new,?could it be the fuel pump? I WOULD APPRECIATE YOU HELP THANK YOU :(

If you have to pump the bulb on the fuel line to keep it running, sounds like a faulty fuel pump.

I have the same problem but i found that the fuel connector at the motor acts funny. I pull it off and press the ball open and pump the ball once . Replace it and it runs purfect. try it
