Hi,
I bought a 1974 Fisherman OB 3 years back. I had it overhauled initially- worked great, no problems.
However, it has sat for 2 years unused at the cottage (bad..)
I removed the plugs- both were fouled black-ish. I cleaned them and after a few pulls, removed them and saw they were wet with gas.
So, I now want to get it going.
I can see a spark on the top plug, but no spark on the bottom (same plugs, not replaced).
If I swap the plugs, the problem stays at the bottom cylinder.
Ok, questions
Both plugs were wet- is the fuel feed OK?
Would one plug with no spark cause a no start?
Could the points be fouled?
