Evinrude 70 tlend

Can’t get my 1992 70 tlend to turn over. New switch and solenoid,no change. I checked fuses and they are ok,I can jump the starter but not start from ignition switch. Changing the sol and switch did nothing.

Check / adjust the neutral start switch.----An item found in the control box.

Try moving the shift lever backwards and forwards a bit in the neutral detent, with the key switch held in the start position.

Try using a jumpr wire from battery post on solenoid to the small post on solenoid.
