I just swapped a guy on craigslist a digital camera SD1100IS, for his
1969 Newman 16' hull, trailer/with new bearings and tires, and the most important 1974 Evinrude 70 hp outboard with trim/tilt.

so far transom is junk all rotted but can be saved if i seperate the top from the bottom half of the boat and replace the wood.

as for the motor she started on the first try!!!!
but was ok for first few secs then irratic firing.
after a little investigating i have no spark on top cylinder....
i tried swaping coils, plugs but all coils and plugs work in other locations
so leads me to believe my switchbox is JUNK (placing the order for it this fri
82.98$ plus shipping
i even pulled the flywheel checked stator and sensors all worked fine.
other than this electrical prob it desperately needs the carbs rebuilt lower carb might as well be a hose directly from the tank lol.

O by the way i did a compression test on all 3 cylinders and

151lbs in each not bad for an old motor lol.
if anyone has any input for me it will be greatly appreciated.
I would rather toss the hull and get an aluminum hull. 18ft
