I have a Evinrude 50hp '72 hydro-electric shift that has been sitting for, oh, six years. I have cleaned up all the connections, swapped the gear oil, and traced thru all accessible wire lengths for deterioration and wear. Battery and gas are fresh and ready. What further steps should I take before cranking her over?
Thanks!

Hi kippstakes,

Welcome to the forum!

In this forum, in the first "sticky" posting titled "Top Secret File", there are links to useful topics, amongst them how to wake up a "sleeping motor".

Good luck, Peter
