Hey all,
I have an Evinrude 88 SPL and I'm curious if my electronic primer solenoid is working correctly, when I press the key I can hear the solenoid click, but then if I try to turn the key while pressed in, it does nothing, turning the key without pressing in will crank the engine just fine though. Does pushing the key in just squirt some fuel in to help cold starts or does it open a valve to allow more fuel to be temporarily sucked in?
