Hi, I finally found a motor for my old jon boat. I purchased a 1972 Evinrude 9.5 HP from a friend of mine, and I have seen that it runs great. I have not yet run it on my boat, and was wondering what the top speed probably is. I have an old 14' aluminum jon boat. Does anyone have any idea of what it will probably do? Also, is there any way that I can help support my transom since this is a fairly heavy motor? Thanks
