The port timing is different on a 1984 90 & 1984 115. You can use the 115 carbs but here is what we would expect --<br /><br />If your top rpm is 5500 or less now, with bigger venturi carbs we would not be surprised at a slightly slower holeshot. Perhaps little if any better mid range response and only slight gains on top rpm. It should use more fuel.<br /><br />If your top rpm is 5500-6000 now, with the bigger carbs we would expect about the same, maybe slightly less, holeshot. A slight mid range improvement and slight top improvement. Obviously burn more fuel.<br /><br />If your top rpm is 6000 + we would look for the same or slightly better holeshot. A little better mid range response and some gain on top. At 6000+ Boyesens are a must but if youre there, you already know that. Again -- more fuel.<br /><br />The full advance timing is the same.
