Evinrude cowl seals

I need one for a 1976 evinrude 40 hp.These are no longer available.I have several vintage motors that need these.Are there any aftermarket seals that will work

nymarine has them all.-----New stuff in white or black.

I had the same issue on my 73 25hp evinrude. To compound the problem the lower motor cover is distorted one side is 1/4 to 3/8 wider than the other side. To fix it I greased the cowl, for a bond breaker, and caulked the gap with a polyurathane caulk.
It's ok, far better than nothing.

I have used edge trim for boats from Taco Marine. It seals great and looks sharp.

Was it the Taco flex trim? Do you remember the profile?
