We're considering a trailerable 26'powersailer. The dealer recommends the E tec 50. (he'll install anything we want) Pls. help with experiences and pros/cons on this engine. Thanks! Jauncy

The E-TEC 50hp is now in its 3rd year of production and has been a reliable motor. Besides being one of the 'cleanest' EPA approved motors ever tested, it has a unique electrical system that does not need a battery to operate like most other engines.<br /><br />The minimal maintenance that it needs is also a plus.
