Have 1999 e70pl4ee Evinrude 70hp 4 stroke. Son had it running about 10 minutes when it started to give off white smoke. Shut it off and it wouldn’t crank, tilt, etc. 30 amp fuse is blown on top right of motor, 15 is ok. When I plugged a new fuse in it sparks a bit and will blow. OhmS to ground are 10. Disconnected all computer plugs and get same thing. This motor had been winterized 8 years ago and been in storage since. Key was missing, so a new ignition switch was installed. Test ran it in a barrel of water and it ran extremely well before 10 minutes of actual lake time. On lake it ran fine except when they went above half throttle. After 10 minutes white smoke. Does anyone know where I can get an engine electrical manual. Willing to pay for it. Thanks for any help. Also wondering if that fuse should have constant power, even with key off.
