Evinrude Fasttwin 15hp

Looking for a year for a Evinrude Fasttwin 15 hp outboard. Serial/Model # 15016-11548. Also need a brief education of the reason for two line/fuel tank, one says air one say fuel, not to knowledgeable about them, i'm use to one fuel line with bulb. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

1956. The motor pressurizes the tank and that pressure pushes the gas into the carburetor.

one of the best motors ever made, i've had several. the fuel system is really simple, you pump the button on the tank to force fuel into the carbs, and pressurize the tank, when the motor starts it pulses air into the tank inorder to maintain the pressure, this pressure moves the fuel to the carbs. laingsoutboards.com has all the necessaries to keep it running like new.
