Evinrude Fastwin

Someone gave me an Evinrude fastwin. They throught it was a 1971 15HP or 18HP. It runs but I don't know much about it. Can anyone give me some info on plug gap and fuel mix? The control panel is worn and I can't read labels. I know one control is chock and I assume other 2 are low and high adjustments. Can anyone give me info on controls and settings? If anyone have owners manual that they can fax control pages, let me know. Thanks for your time.

With no model number there is not much we can do for you, Andy.<br /><br />Look for a plate riveted to the mounting clamp. That should have model and serial numbers.<br /><br />It would be illegal to fax or Email copies of copyrighted material.<br /><br />Let's get the Model number, identify your engine and go from there.<br /><br />Good luck.

Also look for a model number stamped into a core plug (freeze plug) on the cylinder block.
