Evinrude interchange guide

Is there a place where you can find an interchange list of parts that will fit your motor? I have an 93 evinrude 140hp and am looking to pick up spare parts(figure if I have will not need and if needed don't want to buy new @ local dealer). but am unsure what "cross" over to my motor. I've looked at the BRP site and it looks like the 120 and 140 johnson/evinrude have mostly the same parts but are there other years that will work? thanks

Some of the interchangabililty is part specific, so it really depends on the part involved. When the time comes, you can always cross reference the part on the BRP website, or ask in this great forum.

as said, you can look up the part # "http://www.evinrude.com/en-US/Accessories/Literature/?popup=true"

then go to ishopmarine.com enter the number, it will give you the new number.

if they are the same they will have the same part #, or the cross reference will give you a new number.
