Evinrude/Johnson 25 horse parts interchangeable

I have a 1974 evinrude 25 outboard (non-electric start). I am looking to buy a parts motor for it. Mostly just to take the electric start from. I found a 1977 Johnson with the electric start that I need. My question is: are the parts from these two motors interchangeable? If not what years motors would be interchangeable the same?

Might consider putting your time and money in the '77 rather than the '74.

I have a 72 Evinrude I want to make electrystart. What bracket would I need from what year models that would be interchangeable? Thanks in advance.
