Try this first as it sounds like you simply have a lean idle mix adjustment issue.Gently seat(clockwise)one at a time the idle mix screws for each carb,counting the exact turns that they were open.They should be adjusted to between 2 1\2 -3 turns open for each carb.Post back with your findings and we can go from there.<br /><br />Aslo check to insure that the throttle cam roller is aligned on center with the scribe line on the fiber throttle cam and "just touching" when the engine controls are in the neutral position.The roller has an adjustment lock screw that can be loosened and retightened if adjustment is necessary.<br />All of the above checks can be easiy accessed on the starboard side of the engine with the cover removed.<br />Make sure you are running QL78YC Champion plugs gapped at .030".
