1968 55hp evinrude, finally got it running after a year of piecing it together and now it will only run with the choke on. <br />Has spark on all 3 cyl. Compression is perfect. My brother ckecked the carburetors for me and says there's no fuel getting to the top carb. I replaced a fuel line from the tank to the pump and used a line that was about 1/4 inch, this is smaller than it was before cause gas kept spewing out the top of it no matter how tight I got the clamp. Reckon the one before to have been 5/8 inch. No spewing with going down to just the next size line, this shouldn't interfere with the amount of fuel needed to feed the engine properly should it? <br />What should I check next?
