Evinrude Speedifour Information?

I just scooped up a 1964 Traveler with a, Evinrude Speedifour and I'm trying to get some information on it. The online guide isn't very helpful.

Serial # E01445

Any ideas?

Rebuild Kit??

Alright, this '64 Atlas I picked up has a 1964 Evinrude Speedifour 75 hp on it. It's definitely locked up. I have searched around to no avail, so I am reaching out to y'all. Is there a rebuild kit available for the motor? You know, like you would find for a car. Also, I'm a pretty decent mechanic, so skill isn't a concern, but would I be better off just buying a new motor? Or do I need to just tear it apart and see? This is an eventual full restoration, but the goal right now is to get it on the water so I can enjoy some time on the lake around the end of summer.

Is the motor locked up ?? If it is, drop the lower unit and see if it's the power head or the gear case.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard Doug,.... There's only 1 way to know for Sure, 'n ya say yer a Mechanic,.....

If ya wanta get onto the water sooner, up-gradin' to another, Runnin' motor will no doubt be quicker,....
