Evinrude Temperature Switch

I have a 71 Evinrude, 60hp, 3 cyl motor and would like to install a Temp Guage. It currently has a Hot Horn which is connected to the Temp Switch via a 18 guage wire. Is there a Temp Switch which would allow both the Hot Horn and a Temp Guage to work together???? Don't really need it; but thought it would be nice to have.

Your warning horn is a make/break circuit ketron. The temp sensor closes on high temp and opens on normal temp.<br /><br />There are temp gage kits out there that uses thermocouples mounted to the engine block to give the temp gage a reading. Might check in iboats store for some info.
