Hi folks,

I'm working on a mid to late 80's 9.9 Evinrude.I have a problem with the fuel delivery. This I'am sure of.The motor will run fine after priming the bulb for about 2 mins. Then it will rev slighty and stall out(outa gas). The primer bulb is soft(not collapsed)when this happens and the motor will keep running fine if I re-prime it.
Knowing the fuel pump has a filter screen on it(clean),would it be a good bet to assume a fuel pump problem or a carb problem?
I have check the tank pickup and used another tank w/a new fuel line, same problem. Thanks for reading my post.
