Re: evinrude triumph 1972 65 hp
Hi jw stone

I think the dealers to what they have to do. Its VERY difficult to tell an error by just looking at a motor, or hearing the story, and the first we people ask is: how much ?

If you dont want to repair yourselves, spend the 30 bucks and you will know - its cheap. From your story is sounds as you already are a good part of the way. I would jump into it, buy the carb rebuild kits ( it sounds like your friend need more fuel ) and rebuild the carbs Very carefully. If you want to know more about motor worth first, borrow a gauge and do a compression test, you will know if the really spendy repairs are waiting around the corner then. Good luck
