Evinrude V4 and OMC V4

Hey there,
Does any one know if the OMC V4 140 HP is the same as the Evinrude or Johnson V4 140HP?
I've got a 1990 PMC V4 140HP and need a service manual.
The Evinrude and Johnson stuff just seems so much easier to find.

if you are talking about a seadrive, they are similar, but nowhere near idenical. what is your model #? http://www.outboardbooks.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=boats.main&manufactor=omc

Yes it is a Seadrive.
Model# 20AHRDGH
Do you need the serial #?

I looked at the Ken Cook site for a manual the other day.
I did'nt see an outboard section so i figured they did'nt have one.
My model # comes up in the stern drive section but for a 30 HP motor.

Check it out again. There is no 30 hp sterndrive. Yes, the Sea Drive will show up under the Drive Systems banner just like an IO or inboard or Sail Drive. What you saw was most likely refering to a Sail Drive.

What you have is a 2 liter V4 looper Sea Drive. Very similar but different than a 120 / 140 2 liter v4 looper outboard. You have a higher capacity charging system too.
