I would like to know if i could replace VRO fuel pump with oil injection with a non oil injected<br />pump and just add oil to fuel. Have 1985 50 hp <br />evinrude serial #g1039854 model #e50belco
t3699,If you are going to use the VRO pump as a 50:1 pumper you'll need to cap or plug off the oil inlet to the pump.You also will want to unplug the wires from the remote oil tank level alarm.
