Evinrude year model and hp?

I just purchased a "late 60's" Evinrude Fisherman "about 9.5 hp. " The S/N 5402B-E11883. Can someone tell me the year made and hp? Thanks.

Hey bearhunter,welcome aboard.Your engine is a 5.5 hp 1964 model Evinrude.

Thanks for the info! Now I have another question. I understand 1964 was a breakpoint for fuel mix ratio. Do I use 32:1 or a 50:1? I appreciate the quick response and this is a great website.

Somehow I knew that question would arrise. Specs call for 32:1 ,however many people are using 50:1 in that vintage with no deleterious effects.The better TCW3 oil of today is better than yesteryears.The final decision will have to be yours.
