I purchaced a 9.9 outboard and having trouble finding what year it is #'s are 0484452<br />and ?9922s I can not read the first number befor 9

I don't find a model # with 9922 except in the 9.5 Evinrude series. 9.9's have alpha characters in the model #'s.<br /> Evinrude 9+

Model ?9922 would be a 1969 9.5hp Evinrude, not a 9.9hp. The question mark (?) would no doubt be a "E".

Like was said. The 9922 is a Evinrude 9.5hp and the year is 1969.

Thank you . After rechecking th #s on the plate I found 10RLCOM which is a year 85 Thanks again
