I am trying to find the EFI Diagnostics kit for my 1999 150hp Fichts model # E150FPXEEN. I would like to work on my own motors. All the local dealers are to busy to bother with older motors. Can anyone point me to someone who sells the equipment. ie. computer to ECU cable, software, and manual.

Any Evinrude/Johnson dealer can order this stuff for you.<br /><br />Interface cable - 437955<br />Software Kit (includes User Guide) - 5005388<br />Service Manual - 787024<br /><br />Make sure your lap top is an IBM compatible and uses either Windows 95 or 98 and has an RS-232 (9-pin) port.<br /><br />Take these part numbers to the parts person at your local dealer and ask them to order for you.<br /><br />-John

Thanks for the info. I had to call evinrude to get them to tell the dealer it was okay to sell me the parts, the order says for dealers only, I told them if you still worked on the motors it would be fine but you won't fix them so what is the problem. Dealer called me back said they are on order should have them next week. Thank Again<br />If it wasn't for people like you I would be left out in the cold.
