Hi,
I removed the LU to check the impeller the other week and put the motor in the water over the weekend to find the exhaust was coming out of the small hole where the shift tilt hook rood comes out the rear of the LU.
Its a old 1964 Merc 1000 6cyl.
Can someone explain if this is right or why it would be doing this?
it is a new motor someone gave me so not had in the water before.
