exhaust cooling? hoses on my 86 mercruiser 3.7 inboard

anyone here ever replace these two hoses? what am i up against? whats the easiest way to replace them?
anything inside that i need to be careful of?

If you mean the coupling hoses , nope not a problem You may have to drain and remove the elbow first

Well it’s an elbow that comes out of the unit and then has a hose with those clamps and then a metal piece and then another hose on the lower end

It appears to be the one on the left
