Hi All, I have a 1990 Evinrude 150xp v6 model: E150STLESB. It has a small leak coming from the bottom right corner of the exhaust cover. It is very minute a drip every ten seconds maybe. I had one mechanic tell me not to worry its just a little water and is not bad enough to replace gaskets. What do you all think, it seems a very easy job. 28 bolts, speck book says to torque to 60-80 inch/lbs. Easy enough job or not I kinda want it fixed. Thoughts?

Thanks racerone, This may sound like a dumb question but when I replace gaskets will it affect timing, sync and lync or anything like that. Also, what is your suggestion for gasket sealer.

??----That will stop water leaks and have nothing to do with anything else on the motor.----Work carefully.
