I have an other elbow riser in better condition than the one thats on the manifold now. when i went to put the new riser on one side of the foot of the casting had a much narrower are that didnt really cover the full area where it sits . I circled the area in this picture this is not the actual riser. This one is like my old one the newer one has a muchthinner piece of cast iron there. Whats the story witht this its like the two risers are exactly the same except by the foot. regardless Im buying a brand new oem one not going to beat myself up over this..... this boating is expensivo.

Re: Exhaust elbow riser question 3.0

this is the used one i bought to replace have look at the difference. what do you guys think ? the casting number is mc-20-12076 the darn thing fits but where the thinner area is leaks like a sieve because the casting is so thin there. what engine will this one fit on i want to sell it because it is in really good condition --unfortunately i cant use it because the foot is not big enough to cover the exhaust manifold on my setup.. any help on what engine /manifold this wouild fit on would be greatly appreciated.. I went and purchased the right one but need to get rid of this one but dont want to sell it incorrectly like it was done to me.
