I have a 1965 18 hp evinrude fastwin that has a hairline crack at the top of the exhaust housing where the power head bolts are located. This crack is under the bracket that is part of the casting . This is the rear of the housing below the cowling latch position. I have not seen any leakage and do not know what should be done or what to look for as a indicator of trouble. Any help would be appreciated.
